This is lifelong.

Robert’s got a phone number, Andrew’s phone number, my phone number.

Whenever you need something, you get calls pretty often. Robert does, Andrew does, I do, too.

I got a call from Komas Lunan. Remember him?

He’s having a couple of things going on. He’s up in Gainesville.

So, we’re going to help him out, of course.

Help everybody out. That’s what it’s all about.

One thing that I do want to correct with what you said.

We did not give you the confidence.

You had that confidence all along.

All of you do.

We just helped open it up so you could see it.

“Couple of times we did until you took that shirt off and I saw those muscles.”

“Oh, we ain’t doing anything.”

Now you have that confidence.

All of you do.

It’s just a matter of believing in yourself.

So, if we can help you do that, that’s going to last you forever and forever.

The person in the blue who was back there was Chris.

He took the program close to four years ago.

As I tell people, Elaine made a mistake. She gave him lunch, and then he never left.

So, I warned you about that.

He’s a great help, and it’s something that’s really important for all of us.

Unfortunately, he’s unable to be here.

So, Julian, come on up here.

Say a couple of words, and let’s see what you’re talking about.

“They ain’t talking about nothing.”

Julian Creech – Acceptance Remarks

“What you talking about?”

First off, I just want to say that video we just watched, that was the second take.

I did perfect on that first one.

“Somebody deleted the video, and we ain’t have it.”

So, I was trying to remember what I said.

But other than that, I really, really liked taking this class and being at this school, getting to learn what I did because walking in here it was a lot.

When we first walked in here, all of us were sitting there nervous.

We didn’t really know if we were going to understand it by the end of it, asking a hundred questions and everything like that.

But they were really patient with us and just answering everything and wanting us to, like he said, specifics.

That will forever haunt me because we all know what we be talking about.

They just like, “Smith won’t know, man.”

Miss Smith, I know what I was talking about.

But I understand because if we on the phone with tech and stuff, we have to explain that type of stuff.

Other than that, I learned a lot.

It was great being here.

Rob, Andrew, Chris, they gave us a real hard time.

You as well.

You just coming in being that Mrs. Smith, or we’ll be working on something, you just tell, “Hey, what’s going on? What’s this? Hey, that’s hanging.”

Just bothering us when you see we’re frustrated.

But we will deal with that being at customers’ houses and stuff.

So, we do have to understand, okay, you do have to have this mindset of being respectful, and even though you’re frustrated, you can’t always show that.

You always have to take a little walk if you get frustrated, like you seen pictures up in that slide.

So, I was just sitting there staring at the system because I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it.

It would just get to me at times, and I would just have to sit there and think.

They’ll come and ask a little question.

It’s always the simplest thing that was wrong with it, but you got to sit there and actually just back away from it and think.

“All right, what are we looking for? What do we have? What do we have?”

It’s really simple at the end of the day.

But yeah, I thank all y’all.

Thank y’all so much for that.
