Danny – Closing Remarks
Unfortunately, one of the goals that I have, and that we all have, is to make it frustrating for you.
To make it where you have to be challenged so you can learn because if you don’t get challenged, you’re very complacent, and you’re not going to ever learn.
So, that was one of our goals, and it still is one of our goals.
We talked to Mrs. Smith, and all of y’all know who Mrs. Smith is.
Ultimately, what Mrs. Smith is, in case anybody’s asking, Tropical Air is one of the partners for Second Chance University and Next Tech Academy.
Ultimately, we have work orders that technicians have, actual, real work orders.
They’re not simulated.
These are the real deal.
So, what we would do in the morning, talk about Mrs. Smith called and she said her AC isn’t working.
What do you do?
How do you get from point A to point B?
How do you develop a relationship with Mrs. Smith so she understands that you believe in her and you want to help her out?
And what are the ways to fix it?
That’s what we did.
All of that.
I know Michael and Mr. K, y’all really loved doing that because it was challenging, and you’re going to be doing that every day.
During a job interview, as Cordell said, you’re going to be seeing that in a job interview.
What an advantage you have over everybody else.
And you do.
Believe in yourself.
Believe in what you do.
There’s some great things that’s going to happen for you.
Ultimately, what I would like to do now…
I’ve spoken a lot.
I would like to know, Elaine, would you like to say anything?

Typically, what I’ll always do at this time is ask if there are any family members or friends who want to say something.
Mom, say something.
That would be great.

I just want to say that I’m proud of my son.
He always makes me proud.
Sometimes he makes me nervous, but then he makes me proud.
This is another one of those moments where he just came out of making me nervous and making me proud again.
So, I’m happy for you, Zion.
I know you’ll do well, and all of you will.
So, just take it, run with it, and be happy.
