HVAC Technical Academy Workshop Participant Videos
In our HVAC workshop at HVAC Technical Academy, we ask every student to make a video as part of their requirements. We believe in sharing these videos with a wide audience, especially potential employers. This way, employers can get a firsthand look at our students’ personalities, their skills, and what they can achieve.
We share these videos along with their graduation speech when our students proudly receive their completion certificates. You can easily find these on our website and also on the HVAC Technical Academy YouTube channel.

Oopsies Do Happen On The Job
At HVAC Technical Academy, we include “oopsie videos” in our training blog not to spotlight errors, but to highlight growth opportunities. Every technician — even the most experienced — has moments when a word doesn’t come out right, a step is repeated, or the explanation needs a second try.
These clips demonstrate something important:
Success in HVAC isn’t about perfection.
It’s about awareness, adjustment, and improvement.
Our students learn how to:
- recognize when something needs to be corrected
- reset calmly and confidently
- communicate more clearly with each attempt
- build professionalism through repetition and coaching
Employers consistently tell us they want technicians who can think on their feet, communicate clearly, and stay composed when something isn’t perfect the first time. That’s exactly why we use these moments as teaching tools.
The “oopsies” aren’t failures —
they’re part of building confident, job-ready HVAC professionals.
Nov – Dec 2025 Oopsies – Gerrard
Gerrard from HVAC Technical Academy turns a few rough capacitor intros into a clear, confident explanation—showing how real learning happens on camera.
Nov – Dec 2025 Oopsies – Joshua
Every tech has a learning moment. At HVAC Technical Academy, we teach students how to recognize small missteps and turn them into stronger skills and clearer communication
