Yesterday 2nd Chance University was honored to have three guests share insight about the HVAC Industry with our group of ten. Those sharing were Christopher Ward from ARS, and Katy Smith as well as Mollie Medrano (who flew in from Houston) representing Resideo.

With a focus on a “learn by doing” attitude, our graduates gain the experience, theory and practice. Truth is that our method is not for everyone. It’s hard to explain the depth of work involved over the six-week program, best way is to visit our facility here in Sanford and take a tour for yourself. At that time the level of hands-on expectations will ignite a passion to go forward.
Getting the workshop rolling in the right direction, we competed in an HVAC word search project, introducing common HVAC terms each will have to master. In addition, we had a winner as first prize won a totally fancy hat.
With a high demand for HVAC technicians, now is the time to let the adventure begin. This week we are celebrating a new life, new journey.
