Hard to believe the amount of progress ten can make in just two weeks. Don’t let the group know but the next two weeks we will be learning in overdrive. We are talking complete system swaps, component diagnostics and replacement, building distribution boxes, and this is just a few projects in the making. Tell you what, these guys rock!
Certification And Safety
HVACTA: Tool Time
An HVAC Service Technician without tools is like a carpenter without a hammer. Recognizing proper tools are a 100% necessity, we provide what it takes for success.
HVACTA: On the First Day of Brazing
Every day is a day of progression. Today we introduced brazing techniques to a group of first timers. Each had their way with at least three copper cuts and three connections.
HVACTA: The Fundamentals
We closed out last week with all participants active in the field as each gained hands-on experience centering around fundamental HVAC equipment and components. Building a fundamental knowledge is essential for all HVAC service technicians… that’s just what we do.
HVACTA: Ladder and Sunshine
By the end of the first week each participant gets down and dirty in the field. This week we went over safety issues, ladder and equipment, as well as launching our knowledge in the field. All ten excelled in a homework project, sharing their insight to all in the workshop not only in the class but also sharing knowledge in the field.
HVACTA: Group Day Two Photo and Warm Up
Yesterday the day was filled with rain… not the best day one but then again, the first week is designed to dig deep into understanding HVAC systems, components, and safety. Overall, we were productive on many levels.
