HVACTA: System Swap Continues

HVACTA: System Swap ContinuesOver the past two days we have been working on completing three complete system swaps. Today should be the day all systems are up and running… and you know what this means .

HVACTA: System Swap Continues

This means once all are up and ready, we will continue the project by working on air flow; box, flex, and registers will be added on. Naturally once all is resident ready, all will perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenances.

Not too worry, photos of their progression will be joining as we go so check back soon
One-on-one attention paid off big time.

HVACTA: Burn Baby Burn

HVACTA: Burn Baby Burn

HVACTA: Burn Baby BurnEnsuring all participants excel in brazing, no matter the conditions and/or angle, each is put to the test daily. Backed by a practice geared of challenge, growth becomes a reality.

HVACTA: Burn Baby Burn

After several hours/days of brazing, all are required to perform in the oddest situations. Often enveloped by cardboard, all practice flame lengths and positions. Truth is, better to burn under a controlled situation than at Mrs. Smith home… don’t you think?

HVACTA: Ooops happen now and then

HVACTA: Ooops happen now and then

HVACTA: Ooops happen now and thenAccidents happen… nothing new about that. The beauty about our program is accidents are a learning experience. For example, just an hour ago one of our participants found out what can happen when housing is secured and touches an open low voltage wire… look at the spark mark and his initials.

HVACTA After the Holiday

HVACTA After the Holiday

HVACTA Recovery Hope all had a solid MLK day and ready to do the HVAC! Though today has nasty weather limiting outdoor excitement, we concentrated on recovering techniques as well as brazing.

Recovery Techniques

Knowing the ability to recover, today we enhanced our abilities via discussing, watching videos, and doing. All got their hands on hose connections, recovery machines, and completing the process. Our recovery abilities will be put to test in the weeks to come as system and component swaps are on the schedule.

We are a training facility where “Learn by Doing” defines our approach to get YOU on a career path. Background friendly, HVAC Technical Academy partnered with 2nd Chance University and to assist ALL looking to enter the HVAC Industry.
