Today we continue learning by doing. This week is dedicated to performing a complete system swap. We are talking from scratch all the way through building distribution boxes, running flex, and then performing preventive maintenances.
HVAC Training
HACTA: Hands On Learning
When it comes to HVAC, curriculum learning is an integral element which cannot be discounted… BUT, hands on learning are where concepts turn into action… and that’s where HVACTA excels.
HACTA: System Swap Prep
When systems come in or out, participants get involved. From moving equipment off the truck to loading, to ensuring paperwork accuracy, it’s all about making sure the installers are good to go without any hiccups.
HACTA: Brazing for the First Time
We wasted not time to get into action. That’s the great thing about HVAC Technical Academy, we learn by doing. In addition to brazing, we began getting down and dirty by taking apart systems… yep, that soon in the program!.
HACTA: On Top of the World
Initially each participant carried tools up the ladder, ensuring the 3-contact rule, without any hitches. Once completed, each took another trip up the ladder carrying a nitrogen tank… a bit heavier and uncomfortable but part of the HVAC job.
HACTA: A New Journey Begins
Welcome our ten on their first steps upon a lifelong journey. Over the next six weeks I encourage you to tag along in their growth, challenges, and successes.
