HVACTA: Pump Down Tuesday

HVACTA: Pump Down Tuesday

HVACTA: Pump Down TuesdayGetting more than mock practice, today is a day to perform a complete evaporator coil cleaning with two live systems… nothing like the real thing.

Pump Down Tuesday

Over the past few weeks we’ve been building solid HVAC fundamentals, performing system swaps, component diagnostics/replacement, gauge readings, and preventive maintenances. No doubt we have been busy.

Before storms visit this afternoon, this morning we will be getting down with a full evaporator coil cleaning… from start to finish.  Makes me wonder what we will be getting down and dirty with tomorrow.

During our 6-week workshop you get down with hands-on involvement… period! Wel even perform a complete heat pump system installation while developing HVAC Clarity, Choice, Confidence, and Competence.

HVACTA Group Performing Package PM

HVACTA Group Performing Package PM

HVACTA Group Performing Package PMToday we are performing preventive maintenance on an Air BnB neighbor. We were able to sneak a group photo, see if you recognize anyone… except for the old man at the end of the line.

Package Unit Preventive Maintenance

Though today we worked side by side with fellow participants, tomorrow we will begin conducting a round robin of preventive maintenance jobs. Overall, each will perform a pm on two package units, three mini-splits, two straight cool split systems, and one heat pump split system.

During our intensive six-week HVAC Workshop program, be prepared to LEARN by DOING! Looking forward to hearing from you soon as enrollment is happening NOW for the October session.
