Intro Transcript — Danny introduces Mark Turmel
It is a journey, and I’m glad you used that word. It is a journey. From day one, it was a journey. Six, seven weeks ago, it was a step—a stepping stone. That’s all. That’s all that this is: a stepping stone to your progression into your career and to wherever you want to go.
You control your own destiny. We’ve talked about that repeatedly, and I can’t help it, but it’s 100% the truth. So that is always, always a wonderful thing.
The next individual, um—he, he already has a job, too. So that’s another—it’s fantastic that we’ve already had multiple individuals, before graduating, becoming employed. It’s out there. There are—last check, several years—still 454 HVAC companies in Central Florida. Everybody needs good people. Period. You don’t have to be the rocket scientist. You just have to work hard. Be eager. Y’all are very eager. Be very eager, humble to learn, and great things are going to happen.
So, I want to take a—check out this, this, this video that Mark did. And the good news is it only took him 15 tries to finally get it right—so he has the record on that. I’m not going to mention—I should not have said that out loud. Sorry about that. But you can handle the truth.

One of the compelling things is no one in here knew anything about HVAC. They look like they sound like they know what they’re doing—and that’s why, when you get a job interview, you’re going to get the job.
Mark, come on up here. Please accept this and our gratitude for you being part of our program. And say something

I’ve had a ball here with—with you guys. You guys are family to me. We spent times, endless times outside, and I’ve grown closer and closer to you guys. You guys have been, you know, really close to me.
We were—helped each other along the way. And I met new friends, and with the assistance of everybody here, we got through it. You know, we were at some times that were rough—but yeah—but we pulled each other through.
So, I couldn’t have done it without you guys and the staff—Danny, Robert, Andrew, Elaine—wonderful, wonderful people. They’re always there making sure that we stayed on track. So thank you all. Appreciate it.
