Unclogging the ClogHVAC Technical Academy go through daily troubleshooting issues and resolve daily. Tripped float switches due to a clogged drain line is one of the most common calls an HVAC Technician makes.

Clearing the Gunk

When drain lines clog, the float switch shuts the system down. The purpose is to mitigate water damage to the surrounding area. To clear the lines, technicians often will vacuum the line out and/or blow with nitrogen.

A simple resolve gets residents back into the cool… and the hero of the story: the HVAC Service Technician.

Learn by doing… that’s what you will expect and will receive at HVAC Technical Academy. Reach out and learn about our January program start (with a maximum of ten students allowed, get your seat early) by calling or emailing today.
