HVACTA: System Swap and Pizza
Early morning all continued preparing for the Universal 608 Certification exam (which we will be taking on November 21st). After an hour of going over Type II, time was dedicated to wiring. This afternoon was all about getting down with system swaps.
HVACTA Group Performing Package PM
Though today we worked side by side with fellow participants, tomorrow we will begin conducting a round robin of preventive maintenance jobs. Overall, each will perform a pm on two package units, three mini-splits, two straight cool split systems, and one heat pump split system.

Though there were a few struggles, clarity remained on focus from all. Provided are a couple photos of the first-time experience… I can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow!
HVAC Rain or Shine
Storms hit during a lesson on digital gauges, so we brought it under roof. Not too worry as once the rain subsided, each was assigned a condenser to confirm refrigerant and then recover… oh what a day to be at HVACTA!
