HVAC Scrapping is part of the job

Scrapping HVAC and AC units involve safely draining refrigerants, stripping outer panels, and separating valuable copper tubing, aluminum-copper coils, and electric motors to maximize profit at local metal recycling yards.

Like always, safety is an important habit to form. When it comes to scrapping, it is suggested to wear heavy-duty gloves and safety glasses when handling sharp sheet metal or using power tools, in this case we used a reciprocating saw (often referred to as a Sawzall).
