Over the past six weeks the amount of growth has been beyond belief. Today, our final day, all enjoyed complete system scrapping, pump downs, evacuations, and just about everything in between.
Think about it, in less than two months the level of hands-on knowledge, skills, and abilities goes beyond definition… you guessed it right: this ain’t no disco, this ain’t no fooling around.
HVACTA provides a committed hands-on experience every day (Monday through Friday) for six weeks. Can you handle it?
Today we were interrupted (briefly) by showers… but a little rain is not going to keep us from doing! Ultimately today found all completing individual projects ranging from performing complete preventive maintenances to replacing (and diagnosing) heat strips, blower wheels, and a little bit of air flow action. After drying off, all went back to doing what they love doing… yep… HVAC!
Two of the three systems are up and running. Our third, Frankenstein, has been more difficult, but that has not sidetracked progress. In addition to getting the third up and running, brazing, working with gauges, and handling preventive maintenances colored the day. This morning, we continued diagnosing and troubleshooting Mrs. Smith’s system… seems like her system is always in need of troubleshooting and resolving!
There’s a difference between knowing and doing. Here at HVAC Technical Academy, wo do both. Mornings are typically dedicated to the knowing while afternoon we concentrate on the doing.
