Hello, this is Ravieon from HVAC Technical Academy and today I’m going to be showing you guys how a condenser fan motor works.

All right, so Well, obviously we already took it off. But I wanted to show you guys how how corroded this thing is and this is how it can go bad. Rust, just natural causes and much more. So, we see the it spins, the fan spins on it, but this is not the motor, it’s actual self. The motor is actually right here. This big boy.

So, these things can deteriorate over time and simply just need a replacement. What the condenser fan motor does is it literally takes the air flow, well, it’s just an air flow. So, if it’s not coming in here and the fan’s not spinning right here, you have a lack of air flow and that can cause ice and ice and more.

Well, thank you today. Again, my name’s Ravieon and HVAC Technical Academy here and yeah.
