September – October 2026 Session

Hello, hello, my name is Max from HVAC Technical Academy. Today we’re learning about a contactor. This is a single pole and this is a double pole contactor. Just getting the way.

All right, so I’mma walk up to Miss Smith Miss Smith. I knock on Miss Smith’s door first, right? How’s it going Miss Smith? She’s not in a very nice mood today. All right, she said she heard a little clicking a little rattling like something like this. So in my mind contactor go don’t got the what’s got the this take that off I’ll take that off I’ll look but I shut off the power first but we don’t got no power out here since we got all right.

Well, this is a high voltage right here and this goes to your transformer and then after that I’m condenser fan motor right here and then this says voltage so I’m guessing when it was burnt all you heard is all she was hearing was this and then told Miss Smith is the contactor contactor went bad I’ll replace it for you.

Thank you for watching HVAC Technical Academy.
