All journeys and goal attainment have one thing in common: ACTION. Think about it, no matter the adventure, planning and motion are required. Careers, any and all careers, are the same way… through hard work and taking steps toward a goal everyday is a necessity.
When it comes to the HVAC Industry, many steps are needed BEFORE the real action takes place. Recognizing this, HVAC Technical Academy and 2nd Chance University strive to have each participant takes progressive steps daily, if not hourly… forming internal and external drives to get closer to the mountaintop.
For many the first step toward HVAC Industry success begins at HVAC Technical Academy… when researching why, it’s clear.
HVAC: Let YOUR Journey Begin
HVAC: Let YOUR Journey Begin
The first word in “self-improvement” is “self.” Every morning we focus on the “self” as a core element when it comes to HVAC. For all organizations no matter the industry, technicians possessing the right attitude, character, sense of self, and integrity are most valuable.
Every day one of every new term all participants take part in a listening exercise… without the ability to truly listen (not just hear), confusion and misunderstandings result. Prior to this exercise I always ask those how they rank themselves as being a good listener. To little surprise, most claim to be excellent listeners. Challenging the group to take a quick listening test I found the results meeting my expectations. As thought, nine out of nine participants failed miserably.
Striving to develop self-improvement habits AND HVAC knowledge, skills, and abilities over six weeks can create huge dividends, personally and professionally.
HVAC Technical Academy, located in Sanford, Florida, takes participants on more than an HVAC journey, this is truly the beginning of something special. Our 6-week (210 hours) workshop parallels self-improvement practices as well as aggressive hands-on teaching style where YOU perform full system swaps, component diagnostic replacements, part analysis, vacuum, recovery, duct/plenum build, brazing, preventive maintenances, and much more.
Serious about working in the HVAC Industry AND a journey of a lifetime, partnering with HVAC Technical Academy is the right choice.
Let the journey begin! Wish you were here…
